THE YOUNG SCIENTISTS CLUB
Launches
Award-Winning Science Kits Nationally In Time For The
Holidays
The Young Scientists Club’s newly
designed science sets will be hitting the shelves of stores
nationally this holiday season. These multiple
award-winning science sets (Dr Toy 100 best children’s
products award, National Parenting Publications Award,
Teachers Choice Award, Learning Institute Award, and
National Parenting Seal of Approval) are unlike any other
science kit on the market in that each set contains 3 fun
kit topics that are explored by the children with the
guidance of Celsius the Science Bug. Celsius the Science
Bug takes the children through all the hands-on experiments
which range from constructing a volcano and designing a
compass to making a stethoscope and an electromagnet. In
addition, the friendly bug also teaches all Young Scientists
about the topics and encourages all Young Scientists to
write down their observations, measurements, and conclusions
in the awesome over-sized booklets that accompany each kit.
At the end of each kit, Celsius the Science Bug invites the
children to visit its on-line Clubhouse for further
exploration on each topic and to e-mail their results,
comments, and questions. Celsius the Science Bug loves
e-mailing all Young Scientists back!
These bright, fun, and colorful
designed sets make a great gift for all children between the
ages 5 – 12. With 12 sets and 36 topics ranging from
batteries and fossils to the human body and volcanoes there
are plenty of topics to choose from. Once a Young
Scientists starts with a set they will get hooked and want
to do them all. Many children have become Young Scientists
this past year through purchases made in a select number of
science museums and specialty retail stores. Since the sets
have become a hit with retailers and customers alike, The
Young Scientists Club is now ready to launch their products
on a national level for the holiday season.

The Young Scientists Club was founded 5 years ago as a
subscription program by Esther Novis. Ms. Novis started the
company to offer other children the same enjoyment her five
kids have found in exploring the world of science. The
combination of bachelors and masters degrees in biology from
Harvard University, years of teaching, running a popular
local summer science camp program, and experimenting with
her own children gave Ms. Novis the tools she needed to
develop these unique and award-winning science sets so that
her goal to get as many children, especially young girls,
involved in a fun and positive manner in the sciences is
becoming reality. |
